In the winter of 2017, I took a course in Expository Writing. The course focused on multimodal composing, and SMEP (social media ethos project) was a means by which we, the students, could utilize a social media platform to develop our own brands of ethos. For me, new to the field of Rhetoric and Composition, I chose Twitter as a platform through which I might develop my ethos as a serious scholar in the field.
